Prior to joining Dominion in January 2018, Chris spent 20 years as an attorney in the U.S. providing legal services to investors and entrepreneurs in the areas of domestic and international asset protection planning, domestic and international estate and tax planning, captive insurance, and trust litigation. He co-authored a best-selling book on asset protection planning, and has been a frequent contributor to legal publications on asset protection, estate and tax planning, domestic and foreign trusts, and captive insurance.
Dominion’s U.S. business overseen by Chris focuses on foreign pensions for U.S. persons, structured payment transactions (structured attorney fees and structured installment sales), foreign asset protection trusts, and facilitation of U.S. inbound investments for non-U.S. UHNW and institutional investors.
Chris earned his B.A., M.A. and J.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and his LL.M. in Estate Planning from the University of Miami. Chris is a U.S. Army veteran of the Gulf War, a lifelong musician, and enjoys Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, boxing, and travel.
